The Hummingbirds June Luncheon was held to raise funds for the O’Brien Foundation on Wednesday, 21 June at 12 Noon, in the magnificent Sofitel on Collins, La Trobe Ballroom, supporting the amazing work of the O’Brien Institute in clinical and experimental medical research.

Guests were delighted and entertained by the personal story of the engaging Tammy van Wisse, marathon swimmer. She has swum 65,000 kilometres and set 6 world records.

The sounds of “Suade”, Australia’s no.1 male Acappella Group, filled the room and had a great impact on our audience.

The Sofitel served a magnificent two-course luncheon and it was complemented by superb beverages.

A special thank you to Peter Smith OAM for his wonderful skills as Master of Ceremony.

A thank you to all donors of raffle prizes, door prizes and table gifts.
